Tbilisi State University National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution (NCADR) organized training “Strategies and Skills for Commercial Mediation’’ based on common initiative and signed memorandum by United States Agency for International Development (USAID), South Texas College of Law (STCL),  corporation “East West Management Institute” (EWMI) and its program “The Judicial Independence and Legal empowerment Project in Georgia" (JILEP).

Training was led by Stephanie Bell, who is a professor at Pepperdine Law School and The Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution –World’s leading university in the field of Dispute resolution. She is also a head of clinical legal education.

Training was aimed for Georgian mediators – who are having an International accreditation and for students who are actively involved in the field of mediation.

Training was held in Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University’s first academic building ( room #06) on November 9-10, 2012, from 10:00 to 14:00.

The working language of the training was English.
