Training in Mediation and Negotiation for Professors

On 29-30th April, 1 May Tbilisi State University National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution (NCADR) based on common  initiative and signed memorandum by United States Agency for International Development (USAID), South Texas College of Law (STCL),  “East West Management Institute” (EWMI) and its program “The Judicial Independence and Legal empowerment Project in Georgia" (JILEP)  organized Training in Mediation and Negotiation for Law School professors.

The main goal of the training was to implement the study course of mediation and negotiation in the Georgian institutions of high education, to develop relevant curriculum and work out learning materials in this regard.

Training was conducted in English by professors of South Texas Collage of Law (STCL) Kimberly Kovach and Catherine Greene Burnett. 11 Georgian Law School professors successfully passed the training course.
