Round Table on Representation in Mediation

Tbilisi State University National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution (NCADR) in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), South Texas College of Law (STCL), East West Management Institute (EWMI), program of the Judicial Independence and Legal Empowerment Project (JILEP) on 17th February 2014 organized the round table on Representation on Mediation.
The round table was conducted by the CEDR (Centre of Effective Dispute Resolution) accredited mediator and the head of the bureau of Tbilisi Appellate Court - Ucha Todua, the trainer-attorney at Tbilisi City Hall Tamar Khatiashvili and academic director of National Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution - Sophio Chachava .
The attendees of the round table were students, attorneys as well as professors, 23 as a whole. After the participation in the round table the attorneys will be granted the proper amount of credits by the Georgian Bar Association.
The main topics of the round tables were the concept of the representation in mediation process, main principles and the phases of the mediation, ethical issues for the attorneys, etc.
